Towards the IRONMAN

Francesco Giannecchini has been one of the first member of the Rolling Dreamers’ family,  when the project was still in its first step. Together with us, and under the guidance of Coach Zaina, he approached the triathlon and grew up crossing one finish after the other. His adventure started with the first triathlon on Olympic distance in Sirmione in 2017, and went on with the 2018 successes at the 70.3 of Pula, the IRONMAN 70.3 World Championship qualification in South Africa, the Florence Marathon, the Iron lake 70.3 in April 2019 and at Ironman 70.3 in Barcelona in May 2019.

In the last two years he went big and found the determination to achieve his goal: to participate in an IRONMAN distance race.

Let's celebrate this new goal together, proud to have you with us and ready to live a new adventure together!

A great performance

Francesco Giannecchini and Coach Zaina had set themselves a goal for the 2019 season: taking part in an IRONMAN, the toughest competition in the triathlon discipline.

Francesco’s debut was the IRONMAN of Klagenfurt in Austria, last 7th July.

When he crossed the finish line, closing with the remarkable time of 9 hours and 34 minutes, it was the achievement of a dream, not only personal but also shared with all the Rolling Dreamers.

Thanks Francesco for showing us once again that with enthusiasm and determination we can make our dreams come true, and that any limit can be overcome. This is the Rolling Dreamers approach and you are a model of passion, motivation and mentality.

Let’s celebrate this new goal together, proud to have you with us and ready to live a new adventure together!
